Do you have trouble sleeping? The Sleep Sounds app will lull you to sleep in no time with a great collection of nature sounds and relaxing music to choose from. Sounds can be played individually or mixed together, with the added ability to adjust each individual volume level to your liking.

In addition to helping you sleep better, these sounds are also perfectly suited for general relaxation and meditation.

Features include:

• 36 ambient sounds and music. This includes 12 free sounds, with the option to unlock the remaining 24 through the in-app purchase option.

• The ability to either play the sounds individually or play as many sounds together at the same time. There are lots of combinations for you to discover and create many beautiful ambient sound experiences.

• Individual volume control sliders for each sound. This is great for finely tuning your ambient sound mixes.

• A sleep timer option with many preset timer options (ranging from 5 minutes to 8 hours) available. This is a perfect addition for anyone looking to use the app as a sleep aid, once the timer fires, all playing audio will stop to allow your device to go into "sleep mode".

• When the sounds and music are playing, users are able to close the app and do general tasks on their device, such as check emails, browse the internet & use other apps.

My favorite sleep app

Love that sounds can be combined to create your own blended favorites. Easy to use with simple timer set up.

Dog barking

Why on earth would they ruin a lovely forest night with cicadas and crickets with a DOG BARKING!!! Who can sleep with a dog barking all night?!!! Not to mention it made MY dogs bark. I loved it besides that. Too bad.

I love this App. I like the “river or brook “ sound. Puts me right to sleep.

Updated and lost free access

I’ve been using this app forever. I decided to update and it was a big mistake. I know people have to make money but to lock the other two screen options after providing them for free for years was extremely disappointing. 5 stars before the update. *sad sleeper* ☹️☹️

Ads are horrible!!!

Loud loud ads on a program designed to help you sleep, when you click on anything! The app has some nice features. I’ve had it for years, but lately the ads are completely ridiculous. I start it when I go to bed and sometimes I need to adjust the volume on a sound after a bit and BLAM super loud ad waking up my wife, and of course with those impossible to close buttons. I honestly don’t recall if I ever paid to remove the ads, had it for a long time, but they definitely make the app unusable now. Also, it would be nice to be able to save sound/volume combinations. I always had it play Rain, Storm, and Wind but with Storm and Wind way lower, but it always resets them back up.

I see that you have read my previous review! Thx for doing that! No app that I have ever written a review for has not yet responded. Anyway, I see that you fixed the loading screen! But that night, I went to my mom and dad’s room and they downloaded a better one for me. I forgot what it’s called but you can create mixes of up to 6 sounds and all sounds are free! I am currently listening to my usual, forest (Birds In A Forest), river (River In Scotland), and fire (Crackling Fireplace). I loved this app but I may use the new one a bit more and see which one I like better. Thank you for reading! If you have questions or concerns, please let me know via response to this review! Update asks for money. Run!!

Had this for three years. Updated now is asking for money when I’ve had those same sounds for free for years. RIP-OFF!

Upgrade did not update

I purchased the ONE TIME FEE to get all the sounds, but with the recent upgrade for bug fixes, it now says I have to purchase it AGAIN. The upgrade did not update.
