Inspired by Chinese mythology, author Kaitlin Solimine weaves a beautiful, adventurous tale about trying one’s best despite imperfect results. Echoing the story’s undertone of environmental awareness, illustrator Hu Yu and percussionist Valtinho Anastacio interpreted the story visually and aurally via collages and instruments made from found materials.

Our mission is to help children cultivate an ear for languages and a taste for the creative arts during this sensitive age. Each story is an original collaboration between writers, musicians and illustrators from all over the world.
