Update 1/12/25: what a lousy system, apple, can’t reply to developer response. They won’t see probably, but:
- no, can’t revert to limited access if give full access for onboarding purposes only.
- sorry, trust in an app to not mine data isn’t smart. You don’t need full access, I have well-known video and editing apps. Top of their field. The only reason you say you need it makes no sense. I don’t take photos or videos on phone, and still don’t want to give you full access. Not necessary at all.

No reason ‘limited access” to photo album shouldn’t work. Except you want constant and complete access so nope, delete.
Now I see why you were giving free. Lure people in. I so wish Apple would try to keep bad actors off the app store.
There are free services doing what you claim. And cheap apps, that don’t require full access

Full access to photos or will not work
Just tried downloading due to free lifetime offer from App Advice. Tried to get through menu to get offer but will NOT let you get past full access to photos, but has dim button to skip, which does not work, so gave limited access and chose two random photos, but not good enough. Cannot skip and appears to want full access or nothing. Sorry, not going to do that. Poor onboarding menu problem. Would like to try this app but no thanks to full access if I don’t want that option.
Disappointed
I like that app, but assumed there was an Apple TV version because of the name of the app. After purchasing, I realized that the app doesn’t work on Apple TV. Why would you design an app for TV—with TV in the name—and not have a version that works on Apple TV? Disappointing…

Just what I wanted
I have been a photographer for over 50 years. I have a Mac mini with a nice 27” Lenovo monitor at the end my desk at the end of our dining room. I wanted a simple program to run ongoing slide shows so that whenever we are at the dinner table, we can enjoy all kinds of photos. This program does exactly what I wanted. No more and no less. In addition to showing the slides it has a feature you can turn on and off the zooms into faces of photos with people. You can also play music with your slide shows.

A Bit Clunky
The app does send a slideshow to my TV. However, once started there is no way to fast forward or pause or rewind. The video timeline on my iPad does not sync with the actual slideshow, so if I rewind on my tablet nothing happens on the TV.
Also, the app doesn’t send images to the TV, it sends a video of images. The app takes the images you add to a slideshow and processes them into a video, which takes a while. Not for last-minute presentations.
I also wish the slideshow could tell what resolution/size my original images are so it doesn’t blow up lower resolution images so large. I hates me a pixelated image, but sometimes that’s all I can get from my sources.
Fun
I downloaded it and had a slideshow on my TV in less than ten minutes. Fun, fast and easy!
