Smart Dashcam Pro uses the motion sensors on your device and is constantly monitoring for any sudden movement. When triggered, it records the critical seconds BEFORE and AFTER the event. For eg, if you are recording 10 second clips, it will attempt to record video from 5 seconds before to 5 seconds after the event. You will be able to capture a lot of context even with short clips when it is centered around the event you want to capture.
See something interesting you want to capture? Just tap the screen to force a manual capture.
You can also easily view and share these clips with your friends or on social media from right within the app! The short clips are ideal for sharing on social media. No more video editing to cut out a small clip you are interested in from hours of dashcam footage.
Want to capture longer videos? You can record video clips upto 60 seconds. Clips larger than 10 seconds will require you to enable buffer compression and may impact app performance on older devices. Take a look at the help section in the app to tailor the settings to your phone's capabilities.
The App also supports an in-app purchase allowing you to purchase an auto-renewable Smart Dashcam Pro monthly subscription for $0.99 per month. The payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription removes ads and allows offline access to the App's functionality. This subscription, once purchased, will auto-renew automatically every month unless you disable it in your settings at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and auto-renewal can be turned off after purchase by going to your Account Settings.
