New User Interface Fail
Unfortunately, the new user experience often fails, leaving me unable to use the app approximately 50% of the time. On multiple occasions, I’ve had to forgo using the app entirely, which not only caused me to miss out on points and rewards but also costed me more since I have to pay by credit card instead. It is also proved inconvenient since I often leave my wallet in the car, trusting the app to work seamlessly.
The updated app also feels less intuitive and requires more effort to locate rewards and coupons.
These recurring issues are disappointing, particularly as someone who has consistently chosen SmartPay over competitors for at least 10 years now. Recently, I’ve found myself visiting other gas stations, such as Citgo, where the user experience has been more reliable and consistent.
Great for discounted gas plus rewards
Great app to use to pay for gas and all convenience store products. You get at least 10c discount on gas and points toward rewards in the store. The rewards redemption in the app is a little confusing at first but works well.
Still Waiting
The app has been down for two weeks now. I’ve called twice and also emailed directly. I feel like this app constantly has issues. I’ve made a few phone calls in the past already when I’ve been unable to make purchases or use coupons. This is definitely an inconvenience.
Update: customer service emailed me as soon as app was fixed. They have resolved the 2 factor issue but you will need to call to complete the set up with them.
So many issues after updates
I use my app all the time and it used to be really great but recently within the last few months after they did a complete revamp of this app, I’ve had nothing but issues and when I go into store, I find out. I am not the only one to have this many issues with the app And right now I can’t even get into my app and haven’t been able to use it for the last couple of days even when I go to login it says that my Validation code to my phone number is incorrect. I’ve tried it multiple times put in the correct validation code doesn’t work. I’m honestly getting fed up with this.
Terrible
Absolutely terrible application trying on iPhone and android with full bars of 5G service and I still cannot get the application to submit my payment. I did the automated connection to my bank account and it pulled the incorrect information charging me an extra $50 for a bounced payment. Absolutely ridiculous.
The app doesn’t work anymore
After trying the past 48 hours (12/29/24-12/30/24) the app still isn’t letting me sign in saying there’s an error then I try to set up a new account and the app is saying sorry another error. Can someone get this app running correctly or is this going to be an issue going forward? I work for Turkey hill and being an employee I Rely on the rewards to help me save. Unbelievable!
Worse in every way
Since the update this has been a worse experience all around. The app never logs me in. Always has problems and is much slower. It now won’t even let me reset my password. Total downgrade
Glitchy
Constantly having issues. Glitchy and slow. Having to enter pin for every purchase makes it slower. App just getting worse and worse. Get better IT PEOPLE.
Broken
App is broken. Error message now when trying to use.
Absolute trash
The app fails to work 90% of the time. Doesn’t generate a bar code to pay. Just error messages.
