This is a childhood classic!! Having all of this with no advertisements and being completely free, only needing to pay a subscription to play it! and all the game modes are included without having to purchase them for $2.00

Played a bunch as a kid and apparently I missed a bunch of things or forgot about them. The pause button is incredibly easy and annoying. Because it’s right at the top right the tiniest of grazes from your finger will cause the game to pause and because the main menu button is right in the middle I have twice in maybe 15 minutes accidentally paused and clicked the menu button trying to shoot an obstacle. Also power ups don’t stack. The second time I paused and went to the menu I had like 4 power ups I had been saving and they completely disappeared when I resumed. I’m just going to delete this game before I SMASH my phone. Thanks for letting me remember this game. I remember it as not being a completely annoying game.

All you had to do was copy & paste the game to arcade. Wondering how they screwed up an amazing game? Here it is: 1. Rendering: Walls and even obstacles sometimes either don’t appear, don’t render or are straight up invisible. This makes the game unfair on its own. 2. Cheap Shots: This was in the original too but its even worse here somehow. Obstacles will hit you when its impossible to stop them or hit you even after destroyed. (Seriously, how’d you mess up the HITBOXES????) 3. Co-op/Versus: You just straight up can’t throw balls below the middle of your side of the screen. HOW????? 4. UI Placement: I’ve lost so many power-ups, pyramids and multiballs because I accidentally tapped the power-up or the pause button. To be honest, this one’s tricky to fix, so I’m not really that mad about it. 5. 0% Hidden Achievement: I’ve got every achievement except one that’s hidden and hasn’t been unlocked by anyone. Plz help maybe? That’s pretty much it. Either way it’s a great game, so just fix this and you’re good. Thanks for reading!

I loved the original Smash Hit, and thought I’d like this version. Somehow, it’s even worse though. The game pausing each time you get a new achievement really messes with the flow and makes it unplayable.

I haven’t played this game in so long but seeing it on arcade, I just have to play it.

I thought that this had been updated, but no. It’s the same old Smash Hit. It’s still nice for those who never bought the in app purchases, but for me it’s the same game with a tinted icon.

I lovedddd this game as a kid, so I was ecstatic to see that it was being redone for Apple Arcade! It’s everything I loved about the original, without the annoying ads. 10/10!

Sometimes piramids or certain upgrades are near the pause button, and when I try to hit the objects near the button (half an inch away even) it opens the pause button instead.

Used to play this game when I was young. So stoked when apple made this an arcade game. Very fun and awesome game. Very addicting, and you will love it!!! This one comes with the premium so you get the boss mode which is my favorite. I love this game and it is awesome to play it again. Just fix the fact that some doors don’t have a wall.
