Won’t connect to grille

Ever since I bought my Black Label grille, I’ve tried and tried to use this app to sync up to it, but it just absolutely refused to link. I’ve deleted it and redownloaded it, still nothing, I’ve tried everything I could think of and it’s just not working, how absolutely disappointing.

No longer works with my Pit Boss

Worthless app now that Pit Boss switched to their own app. Very frustrating and makes me angry I bought a Pit Boss in the first place.

Connection failed

Can’t even connect to my grill. Which is basically the whole point of this app if I’m not mistaken. Will update once/if they update

Horrible

No matter what I do, the grill never actually shows up in the app. It connects, connects to Wi-Fi and then it’s like nothing was ever even entered. Rinse and repeat a couple dozen times and same result. Negative stars would be too many

Won’t connect

It just says “connect to grill” over and over and over. Nobody has time to call in for customer support. Deleted the app after 10 minutes.

Good start but needs work

Updated 3/4/23 If you have Louisiana grill you need to download the Louisiana app. They are no longer affiliated with Smoke it. My problems were solved once I installed new app. Their phone number 480-923-9630 Update 2/25/23 There must have been update because now when I connect to my black label 1200, my only option is via Bluetooth. That’s fine but if you plug probe into meet and want to set a temperature you can ONLY do that in Wi-Fi mode. So I turn off Bluetooth and the app only wants you to connect Bluetooth. Keeps having a pop up trying to connect Bluetooth. Very frustrating. Please fix asap. The app is great for checking in on temperature of the grill and to see probe temperature if they are used. I like the fact while in the app you can set temperature probe limits BUT if you exit app to something else that’s where problems come up. When you return to app your desired temp of 130 as an example is no longer seen. I wish the app would notify you when meat reached desired temp with a notification. That would get a higher rating. Overall good start but room for improvement. 8/14/21 new app version New app and website are interesting. I don’t like the fact that there aren’t any recipes like before. Only 5 on app and if you click more recipes button it takes you to bbq sauces sold. Before this update the website had 30 or more to view. I have Black Label 1200 and the image on my app is not the same as the one in the screen shots. Just noting yours could be different.

Terrible app!! Won’t connect!! Brand new grill, says it’s connected but deletes the grill immediately!!
