Description

What makes prayer powerful? Can we do something about it?
More than just 'another app for prayer', Smolltar is made for those who want to connect with God in a unique, visual way. It is designed for devoted individuals that need a special place to communicate with God without getting distracted and uninterested.
Why Smolltar?
When we pray, we talk to God. It's that act of showing our heart, and we are letting him know what's in there!
Getting distracted is a critical issue everyone's facing, especially when you're praying daily, looking at that piece of paper with a prayer you've seen hundreds of times, being surrounded by the hectic world. And when this occurs, prayer isn't happening; communication with God isn't happening.
Smolltar helps you stay concentrated by allowing you to create your own altar with beautiful symbols and gods, combined with a prayer and beauty and stillness that a candle's light generates. By creating an altar, you now have a special place that will strengthen your connection with your God on another level.
About Smolltar
Smolltar is a one-stop prayer app that allows you to create a divine praying altar where you can connect with your God or Goddess.
In Pop's Francis first video message he said: "Many think differently, feel differently, seeking God or meeting God in different ways. In this crowd, in this range of religions, there is only one certainty that we have for all: we are all children of God". This is one of the most beautiful messages that encourage dialogue among men and women of different faiths.
That's one of the reasons why we decided to create this app for more than just one specific religion.

At the moment, we support these religions:
○ Christianity
○ Islam
○ Hinduism
○ Buddhism
○ Wicca
... however, we'll add other religions in the future.
Our mission is to make a Smolltar a place where everyone, regardless of their religious beliefs, can have an opportunity to connect with their Gods or Goddesses.

Good App Overall, Needs More!

This app has Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Wicca. The religions are very vaguely represented and doesn’t have much to it. The rest of the religions have the basic gods and goddesses involved. You have to buy just about everything if you want to decorate the alter although there is a basic set up that the app gives you upon download. They have 3 sections to customize your alter with. Divine Images, Candles, and symbols. They also have prayers for each religion. Each prayer is about 0.99 with a few free ones, and it goes the same for each alter item to customize it.

Sounds promising on paper, but is entirely microtransaction based

So yeah, this app promises you can build a little altar and say little prayers, but what it doesn’t tell you is that if you want to change anything on your altar, etc. it costs money. You get one thing in each category for free to start, but if you want to swap or change anything, it costs money. It’s cheaper and more fulfilling to make your own altar space at home.

It has potential

I like the concept of this app however I think you need to add more religions as well as pantheons.

you pay for everything

I was pleasantly surprised at the beauty of these customizable altars as well as the variety of different prayers and blessings. As a busy witch on the go I often find it difficult to squeeze in a morning meditation -and- blessings to the goddess before the mundane world demands my attention. With this app, I’ve worked out a great new routine that lets me perform my meditations, offer a blessing to the divine, and make it to work on time! Thank you Smolltar! Blessed Be!

A Comforting Spiritual Experience!!

I am loving this app. Smolltar gives you a variety of prayers and chants to do based on your religion or spiritual identity. It’s very inclusive of many popular religions and the prayers are written by genuine practitioners of that religion. After my prayer I felt an immediate sense of comfort and protection, I can’t describe it fully but it was wonderful!
