Completely Unacceptable Delivery Experience – Ruined a Birthday Surprise
I’m extremely disappointed with the handling of my recent order. I had planned a surprise birthday dinner for my brother, something I put real effort and care into. I chose a restaurant with a 20–30 minute delivery window to make sure everything went smoothly. After 10–15 minutes, I received a notification saying the order would arrive in 1–5 minutes. I waited — excited — thinking it was just around the corner. But no one came. No call. No update. I contacted support, expecting clear information. Instead, I was told nothing useful and had to push just to get the driver's number myself. When I called him, he casually said he had reassigned the order to someone else because it “wouldn’t fit in his vehicle.” This is unacceptable. If he knew it wouldn't fit, why accept the delivery? And why did no one bother to inform me? I was left waiting for nothing,m. The food eventually arrived, but it didn’t matter — the surprise was ruined, and the birthday plan I worked on was completely thrown off. This wasn't just a late order. It was a failure in communication, professionalism, and basic customer respect. I expect an explanation — and honestly, some form of compensation — because this was more than just a delay.
