Our favorite breakfast place EVERY

Food is great but took over 30 min just to get waters. All in all we were there an hour and a half for breakfast.

Wife and I dined at the Atlanta Howell Mill location this afternoon. It was about 3:45 pm and the restaurant was about 10% full with plenty of seats by windows, in the middle, and toward the front of the restaurant, yet we were taken to the back next to the kitchen door where employees going to and from the coffee station, bar, and kitchen created constant traffic by our table. Our server, Saniaa, took our drink and food order with little to no eye contact and seemingly disinterested. When our food came out, she asked how everything was before we were able to take a bite. We have her a thumbs up and never saw her again. Once we started eating, we realized the cold latte my wife ordered was delivered as a hot drink, the bread for her avocado Benedict was cold (as in right out of the fridge), the avocado was so hard it had to be sawed though with a knife, and her fork was filthy with dried food residue. We found another server, who brought a clean fork and a toasted English muffin to replace the cold one. When the Saniaa finally came back my wife told her about the mistakes and she immediately walked away without saying a word. A minute later, the manager came over, was very polite, apologized and said she’d take her meal off the ticket. A few minutes later, Saniaa dropped the check off at the table as she walked passed without stopping or saying a word….it’s now clear she has a major attitude. About two minutes later, she came by grabbed the check off the table, made some change to it and brought another one back…all without a word. The only words she spoke to us was when she brought my credit card “have a good one” and walked away. We have eaten at several Snooze’s around the country before and never had this kind of experience, but this prompted me to sign up for the MySnooze app just so I could write this review. Prior to my 30+ yr career in commercial real estate, I worked my way through college as a bar tender and a waiter. I understand the job and how tough it can sometimes be dealing with customers. You never know what’s going on in other people’s lives that day so I try to keep that in mind, but if you’re going work in the service industry, the most basic requirement is to at least pretend to be pleasant and interested in doing you job. And if a mistake is made, just offer to make it right and don’t take it personally and cop some “tude”. Lastly, I did go to the men’s washroom and was disgusted at the level of cleanliness around the toilets.
