"I live in the mountains, so Snow-Forecast.com is not just a winter site for me; it's useful year-round. It's the first and last website I check every day. I use it to plan my days: if it's work, I rely on it to make decisions about filming windows; if it's playtime, it's even more important to get it right, as that time is the most precious.” - Ed Leigh - Commentator & Presenter of BBC Ski Sunday
“With today’s climate making it harder to find good snow conditions, Snow-Forecast.com consistently suggests hidden gems among ski resorts. Often, these are relatively unknown spots where I’ve enjoyed memorable snow days in the mountains!” - Lila Thompson (USA)
“I am a ski guide and rely on Snow Forecast to plan my days. I’ve been a happy premium subscriber for many years and confidently share their forecasts with my clients” - Toby Scott (Australia)-- Terms of use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Snow Reviews

Worldwide coverage, great detail

Love the forecasts for base/mid-mountain/peak. Has entries for every resort in US even small ones.

A Must Have for Winter Sports Enthusiasts

Stratoskier on

This app offers exactly what you need to know the temperature, the wind speed, and the precipitation at each elevation level relative to time of day with reasonable accuracy. Pair this with any good radar app and you should know what to expect when you are outdoors on the slopes. No weather app is perfect, but this is stellar.

Best ski weather app I found

Chess Bud on

United States

Incredibly easy to use, more information than you could possibly want. I can spend too much time, which is my only complaint. Being able to look at the weather by altitude is a game changer. What the weather is like at the base of a mountain is very different than the top.

Email address required

Slcg on

United States

Can't use any of the app without giving away your email address first and creating an account. There's no way to evaluate the app without that commitment, which is a terrible onboarding experience. I'm sticking with the website that doesn't need my personal info

Japow accurate

Tokyogabe on

Works great for my resort, consistently accurate at all three elevations.

Count on Snow-Forecast to keep you up to date on your favorite resorts! I use for U.S. west and Hokkaido. Always a trusty tool for my trips!

Junk app

Rick-ski on

United States

Was my go-to app for ski weather and conditions . . . now unintuitive, useless bells and whistles, is junk.

New subscription format stinks

SimmonsPDX on

United States

The app itself is great for many years. I have been buying the full version of this app for the winter months for too many years to remember. This year it’s changed to an automatic renewal format. I don’t need or want it in the summer. The last thing I want is a reoccurring subscription. My response is to pay nothing now. You had my money every winter. Now you’ll get nothing.
