This map system was great a few years ago and now it is all mucked up. It was easy to use and now it has a lot of glitches for using for snowmobiling.
Description
Snow NW has all the information you need for your favorite winter sports. Snowmobilers, Nordic skiers, snowshoers, fat bike enthusiasts and even dog sledders can use the app to find and navigate their winter adventure. With over 11,000 miles of groomed trails in Washington, Oregon and Western Idaho, plus marked snowshoe and nordic routes, ungroomed snowmobile routes recommended by local clubs, recreation roads and even summer trails, you are sure to find a place for fun in the snow. Planning your trip, the app has all of the sno-parks, other trail access, winter campgrounds, snow play areas, shelters and camping cabins. Click on any point, trail or area to get more information including what sports are allowed on the trails, what pass is required at the trailhead, what facilities are available, links to the avalanche forecast covering each recreation area, recreation land information and rules. The maps even show the Snotel monitoring sites with a link to the current readings so you can check the snow depth before heading out. Use the filters and search functions to find the perfect destination or to find a business that has what you need. While you are on the trail you can use your GPS to plot your location and navigate even without cell service, just make sure you download the regions before you hit the trail. Snow NW is the best app to navigate winter in the Pacific Northwest.

Snowmobile Wa App. From a grooming contractor
This app is outright amazing! I wish it was available years ago! What a tool to have as a snowmobiler!! I have all of my operators set up with this app now, it comes in very handy when they go to a different area to fill in from there normal area they groom regularly! Two thumbs up!!!
