Soflete FAQ
Is Soflete free?
Yes, Soflete is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Soflete legit?
⚠️ The Soflete app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
First I wanted to say that SOFlete and their training programs are awesome. I use and love their products too.
The 1 star review is for this terrible app. The idea is definitely a great one, but the functionality of it is awful. It continues to reset my plans and working maxes despite inputting them multiple times on the desktop and through the app. I've deleted and reinstalled the app, but it'll continually ask me to input everything again. Also, if I have to look at a video to explain the movement/exercise within a workout, I have to completely shut down the app because the exit buttons do not function.
I really wish this app was better because I'd love to use their programs. If it matters, I'm using an iPhone 14 with the most up-to-date version of their operating system, and the SOFlete is currently up-to-date as well.
One of the worst out there
I say one of but making an account on this app has been the worst experience I’ve ever had. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt obligated too after using it. The workouts are either incomplete (or not done at all) or use equipment not listed in the program description. The interfaces that you interact with are so bad with countless broken links with you needing two separate accounts to even use the app. You are much better off taking your money elsewhere as there are plenty of actual functional apps in the industry. This one has been a joke for years with not much progress in fixing it. It’s too bad because I want to like it but it’s become borderline a scam.
You’ve been warned
Programming good. App ok
I’ve made several reviews; all are similar, since some of the issues haven’t been resolved. For the most part, the training and nutritional programming is top notch as well as the customer service. The app has some kinks to work out.
For almost two years, I’ve had constant issues with the app actually keeping a historical record of the weight I’ve moved by sets (the bar graph icon “exercise history” when one is mid session).
There are occasionally differences in what the grocery function tells you to buy and what the actual cooking instructions will have you use. For example, the grocery function says buy 15 eggs for a course of five days, but once it’s time to prep that meal for five days, the instructions will say 18 eggs required.
Impossible to cancel free trial.
I got the app to see what it was about after I recover because I am coming off an injury, and it is impossible to cancel this free trial. It should not be this hard. Emailed them twice. They make you have two separate accounts; it’s a mess.
Fantastic training, app has room for small improvements
This is hands down the best training I’ve found. There is great variety and challenge and a workout program to fit whatever your needs are. I’ve also had improvements with a lot less pain such as tennis elbow with push ups.
I wouldn’t consider the nutrition component to be a complete meal plan that I would recommend, but it has some great recoiled that are easy to make, taste great, and that my family will eat with me.
The app itself could use some tweaking such as adding more timers for all of the workouts and the ability to add notes if you substituted something for a movement. But, overall these are very small sacrifices for the overall quality of the program.
Workouts are great if I could access them
The plans are awesome if you have access to basic gym equipment. I have noticed that since recent updates I haven’t been able to access my history, and even though I’m paying a good amount of money the app has crashed which requires a restart and download multiple times.
I’m starting to get really peeved about losing data especially since the app could be really good. Paying way too much to keep messing with this
Current app is great
A lot of reviews complaining about the app are outdated. The current app is awesome; I’ve been using it for months and have zero complaints. The programming itself is next level. I use the training, mobility, and nutrition programs and they are all some of the best I’ve ever found.
Top Shelf Training App
SOFLETE is great! I had the privilege of serving on Interdisciplinary Human Performance Teams for Green Berets and Pararescue Jumpers. We had CSCSs, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and Chaplains working together to ensure these operators had the tools to perform at the highest level. Our CSCS used some great applications like TeamBuilder to program our workouts. SOFLETE gives me the CSCS-managed-level programming but with more options as a consumer. I can quickly select a different program to supplement my current training. I can select a great mobility or recovery routine anytime too! I can get nutritional help from the meal suggestions!
Absolutely love this app!
Great programming, poor app
Been a huge fan of Sofletes programming for years. App continues to be flawed. Hoped for fewer bugs with “new improved app” but no luck. App is not up to the the level I expect from Soflete.
Love programming, app is the a dumpster fire
Good luck getting through a workout without having to close, reopen, delete, reinstall, login…repeat x3
Just write down or screenshot the workout on the computer and keep track that way. If you don’t mind hair loss from stressing over an app, then by all means this is your app.
