Description

SoHO Viewer is a simple application for downloading and displaying the latest images taken by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SoHO).
It includes push notifications so you can be notified by a badge on the application when new images are available.

It appears in Mars 2015 edition of Sky And Telescope, page 70.

Soho viewer no longer works

After using Soho viewer for years it just stopped working around September 2021. It looks like the developer should update the URLs from which the solar images were downloaded for display in this app. At present the app is useless.
