Solar App

Earlier versions of the app used to allow user to rename the device for easier identification. I am not sure what version broke this. Under “Basic Info” the Device ID is there with a “>” symbol after it, showing there is a selectable option. This no longer works when touched. It highlights when touched but nothing happens. I have tried a factory reset of one of the BOUGERV MPPT devices and that did not help. I also tried deleting and reinstalling the Solar APP. None of this works anymore so I am stuck with whatever I named the devices several APP versions ago. Otherwise, it works well enough just to check status.

This app was perfect till last update in early November. Since then the Bluetooth function will not connect to the DC charger. Please fix this issue!!!!!!!!!!

When this works it gives you plenty of information about your system. However, the connection between the app and bt module is iffy. Sometimes it connects right away and sometimes it takes several tries, even standing right next to the module. The biggest headache to me is that it disconnects quite frequently especially when changing pages within the app. Definitely needs work
