Hit and miss
I’ve paid to go add free as I think the effort so far is worth the investment that is as long as it’s used to improve the App. Some days it’s accurate but more often than not it isn’t. I don’t think the weather service used (if any) is accurate enough. On days without a cloud in the sky it’s pretty much spot on, but any cloud cover and that’s the calculation out of the window. The forecast also changes during the day and removes previous forecast, so you can’t use it to plan if using with battery storage. The hourly forecast graph isn’t that helpful either, maybe a line over the graph tracking the actual time, with a calculation showing how much should have been produced against the forecast? A clear hourly breakdown instead of a graph would probably be better, and would also allow you to cross reference with a more localised weather app? I’d also like to see historical data to be accessible.
I so wanted to get it working..
But in every step I was hit with ad after ad after bad ad that I couldn’t cancel. Either make us pay for the app or make it usable if it’s free.
