Diese App zeigt die wahre Sonnenzeit bzw. die wahre Ortszeit an, also die Zeit, die man von einer Sonnenuhr am aktuellen Ort ablesen würde. Die wahre Sonnenzeit ist die Kombination aus der mittleren Ortszeit (die vom Längengrad der aktuellen Position abhängt), der Zeitdifferenz aus der Zeitgleichung (die sich im Laufe des Jahres durch die elliptische Bahn der Sonne ändert) und der Verschiebung durch die optionale Sommerzeit.
Das heißt, bei der wahren Sonnenzeit steht die Sonne um 12:00 mittags im Zenit.

Thanks for a useful app!
I have this on my iPhone and my iPad. It installs super fast and all I had to do was allow it to access my location and it immediately shows the time of day based on the location of the sun. That’s exactly what I wanted. One thing that I would like to see the app do is have the icon for it show that local time. Or no time at all. The icon has 12:34. No a.m. or p.m. Since I know that never changes, it doesn’t fool me. I have it right next to my Clock app, which shows the official standard time, so would be nice to be able to see them side-by-side ride on my desktop, without having to actually open the app.
Kindergarten simple.
Tells you the present solar time in your location. Pretends nothing more. Straightforward and uncomplicated.
Icon always shows 12:34
Would be way better if the icon showed the time instead of always 12:34.
What’s not to like?
This app does exactly what it claims to do. No more, no less. I’ve had it on my iPhone for over three years and refer to it often. A nice, reliable gadget.
