I love the look and function of this app and all of the other apps from Solid Apps. I had questions about the way the privacy and security were handled this being a personal diary where one would potentially input very personal details. So, I emailed Solid Apps and asked about the privacy and security and received a fast response detailing how the data is encrypted and how it is handled for the various Solid Apps. I am satisfied that I can use this app (and the others as well) and know my stuff is secure.

As a neurodivergent person, I can sometimes have trouble telling a) what I’m feeling and b) why I’m feeling that way. Solid Diary is amazing at helping me recognize what I’m feeling and why I might be feeling that way, based on my writing. This app can analyze your journal entries using AI and explain what emotions your writing conveys and why you might be feeling that way, plus gives you suggestions for dealing with the stuff on your mind. I’ve only been using it for a little while, but I can already tell I’m going to use it a lot. If you tend to over share on social media because you need a sounding board, this is a perfect healthier alternative!!!
