Solitaire Versus

Nertz Multiplayer Solitaire

Published by: Miralet

Description

Solitaire Versus is a free, fast-paced multiplayer solitaire game popularly known as Nerts, Pounce, Peanuts, and Racing Demon. It plays like Canfield with two to four players all competing at once and sharing their ace piles.
Play with your friends in the same room, across town, or on the other side of the world. Or you can choose to play with somebody new.
No login or sign-up is necessary, just download and play.
Add frequently played players as friends so you can see when they are online and invite them to play.
As you play, you will develop a skill rating similar to a chess rating. This reflects your overall ability and is used to match you against other players of similar skill. But you can choose to play against a player of any level – if they will accept!
Earn Success Points as you play in four-player matches, then compare yourself to the world’s elite Solitaire Versus players by rating, Success Points, and win percentage.
Game Play:
It’s a race to clear your Task pile and get your cards out to the Community area before your opponents do. You earn one point for every card moved to Community and lose one point for every card left in your Task pile. Miss an opportunity to move a card to Community and you may lose precious time waiting for another opportunity to arise.
You each play with your own deck, Task pile, and Staging piles in your private area, but you build Ace piles in a shared community area.
It’s great fun, involving speed and card placement strategy. There is no turn-taking amongst the players, everyone plays simultaneously.
A round ends when the first player empties their Task pile. The next round starts with a fresh deal of cards. To win, end a round with 60 or more points – if multiple players have more than 60 points, the player with the highest score wins.

Solitaire Versus Reviews

Addictive, but the app needs improvement

Here’s the thing: I’m obsessed with the game. I’m hooked. But the app can glitch sometimes, causing lag or kicking me out of games. Currently, the entire server has been down all day and it’s driving me absolutely nuts that I can’t play

Don’t do it

This game is a blight on humanity. There are cheaters and bots all over it. If you download it, you will accidentally and irreversibly install malware that will give your device a virus that makes it crash. It’s a scam.

Excellent Game

Hopefully it gets more popular!

Ads are so wild

The ads between rounds are longer than the break so when you finally get to the next round the game has started without you. Beyond ridiculous. I’m fine watching an ad but why allow it to impact the game? I deleted because this started happening almost every round.

This game definitely needs work..way too many glitches..and way too many ads!I wrote that when I first downloaded this game..the ads are unbelievable and the app is SO inconsistent.I give feedback and they respond, but never take care of the problems..sorry I ever downloaded it..don’t waste your time!!!..update..deleting app..too erratic..way tooooo many ads..no response to feedback..

Good Game But Ads

Fun competitive game that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else on the app store. I’m not convinced I’m playing against real people because who they heck is playing this app besides me. But the ads are killed popping up after ever round and every game. There’s not even a remove ads for 99 cents options. Also some ads will automatically make you leave the app and bring you to the app store, even if you carefully click the X out. I do enjoy all the stats and game history they add. I wish there was a chart of progress over time, like a line graph of the points.

Great mobile port, responsive devs

I’ve been looking for a good mobile port of nerts since I discovered a similar one on pc. Got my friends and family hooked on this. Yes it’s a bit buggy and yes the ads are annoying but these devs need money to make it better! It’s great that they built in a feedback feature internally. I’ve submitted multiple ideas and they’ve always responded within a reasonable timeframe with great feedback. Devs let us know what you need to keep improving on this!

Love the game but can’t start rooms or leave games…. Love that you can play real friends but it is a pain to navigate this app. Bummer.
