There’s no way there’s this much activity and yet when you put in for a loan it’s never funded. When you lend to someone, you rarely actually get paid back. I’ve used solo for a year now to give it a fair shake. The major problem is there isn’t anything being done by SOLO to get money back in a timely fashion when people don’t pay. I can’t afford to loan anyone money, but if I did receive a loan I could pay the lender back. However, do to no fault of my own, I got an email saying that my account was closed just because I have not received a loan and I never funded one either. I’m not so sure how or why that happened when I see some people say they been trying for a year or so but somehow my account got cancelled and I haven’t been trying for long. I personally believe that this app should be disabled because I have seen people say they never got funded when it shows all of the people who have been funded over 10 times and I have seen people say that they funded a loan and never got paid back. People are losing money and hope all at once. I love the idea but it’s a disappointment both ways. Nice people are being taken advantage off by loaning people who won’t pay them back and people who need help can’t get it. And those are probably the people who will actually pay their loan back. I tested it, requested a long for half of what I was able to just to see if it worked. The next week I paid it back early and went to try to do it again and I had to resubmit the debit card I used previously, and it was having “internal errors on our end” pop up constantly, customer still hasn’t reached out to me after requesting some sort of answer or help with the problem twice now. Doesn’t seem to be any light at the end of this short tunnel.
