This is what the App Store should be full of - clever, flexible applications that empower users to be more productive! An 8 minute tutorial video - gulp! Sound onerous. Best 8 minutes spent to orientate yourself on how the app functions, then spend hours unleashing its power. (Needs a typo correction - 'Clac'!) A few useful things for possible future development: 1. At the very least, an icon for iPad please - though ideally this should be a truly universal app. 2. A cleaner way to edit output formulas - I've found that to make corrections, it's necessary to erase the formula back to the insertion point - it would be much more helpful to highlight elements to replace/correct them or be able to place the insertion point within an existing formula. 3. Would be nice if the application 'understood' percentage values rather than having to formulate them in a 'raw' form - would substantially simplify configuring for casual users. 4. I found I could copy elements, but wasn't able to paste them back in. 5. iCloud support needed. All in all, a very promising and useful tool. Bravo

The application is really useful, but lack of decent editor and any math functions except power, makes it use really limited

This app is exactly what I was looking for to be able to make my own custom formula tools except it is useless for anything except very simple math. It has no logarithm, trigonometry, or any other standard calculator functions. Therefore I cannot make the formulas I need to make. Therefore this app is presently a waste for anything beyond very simple algebra. You have something great here. Please finish the calculator part of it so it is usable. In its present state it is a waste of $7. Once you allow for more complex formulas this app will go from 2 stars to 5. - Justin

Excellent App

This is an excellent app that replaces any need for excel on the go. If you're thinking about downloading an excel app to do quick formulas, think about getting this first. Simple and easy to use. Only thing that could be added is the ability to copy and paste formulas into the application if they are pre-templated with the format needed for this app.

Super simple and very powerful app.

I think I have used almost every formula creation app out there. I can honestly say this one is the most advanced and useful. It does lack in the formula editor, because you cannot selectively edit parts of your formula without deleting some part of your formula.

Excellent implementation of this simple concept. Would appreciate basic operands in the keypad (+,x etc). Also, switching from calc/edit is sometimes a bit confusing, as they don't switch in the same context (as if they were two independent windows in the app).

Ever wanted to calculate something time and time again? This is the app for you. The developer is also very friendly and quickly responds with an update.

I work in a plastic factory and we use formulas to figure roll weights and minutes per roll to name a few. This app has made it so easy to figure without remembering the formulas. There are some suggestions I have a small bug or two which I will be submitting to the developer. Other than that it's an excellent app!
