Solves: Calculator for All

Just curious as to why this was made completely free a few years ago for android but costs money here? I just got an iPhone and finding that everything costs money to use from the App Store. CRaZy

I paid the upgrade fee for the conversion functionality and I regret it. It is very awkward to do conversions as you just cannot select two units to convert between easily and quickly. You have to go into a menu and and create a conversion group first and then use that to convert units. It’s an awkward process that takes too long. After you have created a conversion group you can use it without having to go through a menu by tapping on an icon for the group you made, which is good for conversions you do often, but every unit conversion of the same type (ie. mass) uses the same icon and there are no text labels to show which is which. You have to tap through each one to see what it is. You also cannot just tap an icon to switch back and forth between the units, you have to tap one one to pop up a menu and then change it. The whole process is tedious and you’re better off just using any search engine or some other app to do the conversion, especially if isn’t a conversion you will be doing over and over.

Is everything iPhone’s calculator should have been.

Other Calculator apps wish they were this one. It has all the features you’d need, looks familiar, and has a great looking UI to do it all in. Stellar app, stellar dev. 10/10

Hello, Good application. Trying out 14 day trail now. Requesting to add the following things: Please add number format conversion helpful for programming. Also in conversions please make it so that you tap on a unit it becomes source instead of a menu requiring another tap. Other wise excellent app. Love history sync between devices.

Solves has replaced the official Calculator app by Apple for me. It’s simple, beautiful, and packed full of features even the official is missing. I also like you can change it to an orange theme to be just like the official. Love the design & gestures!

This is hands down the best calculator app that everyone should download. For the scientific calculator it’s absolutely free but I recommend upgrading for $10 to get the extra features and customizability but also to support the dev for making a no nonsense ad free calculator!
