Song Announcer

I’ve been looking online for a feature in Spotify to have the song titles announced before playing. Though it has been suggested many times before, it did not receive enough kudos to be pushed through for development. The closest I could get to song announcements in iPhone automatically before playback is via this app. I thought the free version will announce the song title only, but it only announces the album title, and the actual song announce is in the in-app purchase. I spent ₱99 anyway. There is a “reannounce” button to repeat the song title announcement. I get that the “please listen so I don’t have to repeat myself” is supposed to be funny, but since I bought the app, I wish I could have an option to switch to turn off the sarcasm. I paid for the app, I hope I can hear a more cheerful version of the song announcements. I wish there is also an option to announce the song while fading in the song slowly, sort of how radio DJ’s do it. And I wish the voices sound less monotonous, and there are varieties of announcing the song title “here is...” “the next song playing is...” “this song’s called...” Overall, I gave the app three stars because it gets the job done, but I didn’t like the experience of having to be marketing-ployed into the in-app purchase of the song announce instead of just selling the app directly for ₱99 in the first place. And I was underwhelmed with how monotonous the song announcements sound like. Whether the developers will add improvements to this app or not, I’m grateful they released this app in the market, as I’m not techie enough to figure out how to make my iPhone do a song announce automatically before each song. 🤗

You have to select every song, album, or artist you want to play. Amateur. Probably a virus launcher.

Like the fact that it is only $.99 so far. Like the fact that it has some good settings on it although the voice seems to be the same no matter what. Dislike they’re not being a readable dark mode. Really dislike not being able to tag my entire song library simply instead of having to tag each individual song. Maybe I missing a step, but I sure can’t find it.

Next trending app? Probably not, but it is just what i was looking for. I have a ton of songs on my phone. I use bluetooth earbuds when I work out. This saves me from having to pick up my phone to refresh my memory as to who did a song. I had to buy the Pro version to have the song title announced, but definitely worth the buck 99. Besides, the Aussy announcer sounds hot.
