Songspace

This has become the standard in my circles, and the desktop version is good, but the iOS app hasn’t been updated in over a year and as if late, it keeps crashing (iOS 14). When it works, it’s only good for listening, not admin, uploading/sharing,

Used to be my favorite app, I’ve turned so many songwriters and artists onto it. Then they had a bunch of server issues last year, and the new update only lets you stay logged in for four hours at a time which is the single most annoying thing ever. For a paid monthly subscription I don’t want to deal with logging in every single time. I’d say go elsewhere now, it used to be good but it’s not anymore. At least their customer service is kind. Use DISCO instead.

Right around Christmas the app actually broke and won’t let you login at all, no matter how many times you change your password. The same username/password combo works on the website, but the app won’t work for some reason. If they don’t fix this then the app is ACTUALLY unusable, go to somewhere else.

What is wrong with this app?? It constantly has server issues and doesn’t connect to the network, so I can’t access any of the songs in my catalogue. Even when they’re set to offline, the app freaks out as it tries to connect and reconnect - so listening to offline songs is a no-go too. Everything was fine at first, but then after a while this issue started and is now constant every time I open the app. It’s effectively useless. Defeats my whole purpose of using Songspace. I need a reliable way to store songs in one place and be able to pull them up at any moment to share. Songspace, please fix your app - I see others with this same issue from years ago. Please do something about it.

Since updated, only getting lost network connection error message. Also, no support can be reached. What’s happened to Songspace??

Songspace is a great platform and a tremendous idea. The only issue is that it hasn’t worked very smoothly for me. In order for me to get the app to show me my catalogue (250+ songs) I have to delete it and re download it. Otherwise it will say no connection to server and hit me with an endless load screen. I haven’t quite figured out the pitching stuff as well as syncing with other publishers but it seems like the usefulness is there with everything it just isn’t quite ironed out yet.

Love how Songspace works but this app is a bust.. only half the time or less, does the app actually load up the songs you’ve submitted to playback. I literally have to undownload and redownload just to pull the song up. Frustrating

I’ve had to reload this app too many times to mention. Concept of Songspace is awesome. App…not so much

I love song space but I would love to see the pitch status of songs while on the mobile side too, especially who listened to the song and where. That was my main reason to pay the subscription in the first place 🕵🏻‍♂️🧐 everything else seems pretty great about the app, clean and not lagging.

What they are trying to do with this app is outstanding I love it. But there are times where I hit play on a song, and it all of the sudden starts skipping to a bunch of different songs without even trying. Right now im not able to listen to a single song all the way through because it keeps skipping to the next one half way through it. Definitely a downer. Might have to go back to YouTube music and my own library until it works again.
