Songwriting App: Lyric Studio

lost 3 years worth of songs...not happy

This looks like a useful app. I would love to try it, but there is absolutely no way to make the text larger. There is some implementation of the systemwide text accessibility, but it does not do anything to the actual text for song lyrics. So the app could be great, but if I can’t see it, it is completely useless. It is very sad when developers do not prioritize accessibility from the start. I planned to write the developer directly, but the links in the app to request support or suggest a feature seems to require that I use the built in Apple Mail app. I do not, so I have no way to reach out the to developer. Overall, this was a bad app experience.

Well organized, stable app with useful rhyming access and online back up. I highly recommend it.

Good app with impressive customer service, but if you use it, be sure to keep a spare backup of your songs.

This app used to be good before it had the monthly membership option and started trying to advertise it all the time. Also certain features that were part of the app before were turned into features only available to this new monthly membership. When you go to write a song the list of options shows you all of them including the ones only available with the membership which used to be free.

Update: Songwriter Pro App. Five Stars. I've been a Songwriter Pro user for years, and after a recent update led to the app crashing on my phone, one of the two founders / owners of Songwriter Pro personally reached out to address the issue. This company is run by musicians, and they get it. Their dedication to resolving problems and regular follow-ups impressed me. In a digital age, the personal touch stood out, making me value Songwriter Pro even more. If I could, I'd give them 10 stars. To everyone on the leadership team at Songwriter Pro, thank you. Your personal touch and commitment to musicians mean a lot to me. I'm delighted that all my songs are intact on the newly improved app. Grateful for your dedication!

My feelings as a songwriter is to have an app that is not only ready to go and working properly when I need it, but if a problem arises, to have customer support that is on the ball & cares as much to protect my songs and my time, as much as I do! Every few weeks they update the app to destroy it. Just now it’s taking over an hour to update the app. There are massive games with much more IP and advanced programming yet this takes more time to update. Terrible product due to incompetent updates and unrealistic updates not worth your time

I would give this app zero stars if I could. Song lyrics have deleted on there own, not once or twice, but on multiple occasions. Decided I cannot continue using. Make sure your song lyrics are saved elsewhere, or you will screwed.
