Unfortunately It Did Not Work

But I don’t want to give less stars: maybe this is a new app, I see lots of potential.

Frustratingly inaccurate.

I downloaded it and used it and it was found wanting on the first and only label I tried. It might be an effective OCR program but has no smarts at all. It scanned the “No Gluten” statement and said the item contained Gluten. It scanned the “rice flour" and "buckwheat flour" and gave two warnings of flour. the final analysis was the gluten free product I was about to eat had gluten, wheat, and flour in it. This was palpably incorrect. I have deleted the app. I’ll stick with the barcode scanning app that looks up known products and gives me accurate and correct results. It also allows me to upload new products directly from the app if they are not in the data base.

Its okay

Love the idea of this app. But it need to somehow read the quantities. I tested on a few product that mention gluten, soy & dairy & next to it the quantity said 0, which means it was a product I could have (it was basically letting consumers know there there is 0 gluten found in this specific product. Another great idea would be (& I know this app is affordable) but maybe give people the free trial first and then charge after the trial period. This one seemed to charged straight away even though you get a trial with purchase. A non-charge trial would be great so people can figure out properly how this app works & if its something they can use long term.

Awesome app

This app has been super useful to me, especially making the transition from omnivore to vegetarian. It takes the guesswork and worry out of buying food and makes the process so much faster. Absolutely no criticisms! It’s great. My one request is that you guys add a basic option where you can just select ‘vegan’ or ‘vegetarian’ diet, THEN alter the individual selections. Because I don’t really understand a lot of the technical terms and I assume that a lot of people are the same. Other than that, the app is awesome guys. If it being greedy, I hope it stays free - BUT I do firmly believe you guys have developed an app that is absolutely worth paying for, and I rarely would agree with that. Good job and thank you 🙏👍

Makes shopping quick

Who has time to waste at the supermarket?? I can now use this app to filter out quickly not only non vegan ingredients but recent intolerances such as celery, peanut and gluten which I am not across yet and reading labels is tedious! Must have for all vegans and allergen sensitivities.

Game changer for vegans

Absolutely LOVE this app. It has been so helpful to me when I go shopping, it’s so fast, and so accurate. Really good if you’re in a rush and haven’t got time to google individual E numbers etc :)

Amazing

Such a helpful App. Finds all ingredients for you so there’s no accidentally missing certain things (I’ve done this before a LOT in the past). Love it.

Great

The app design is great and the scanning feature works very well and super quickly! There is also an option to submit words or categories to add. You can also manually create your own list of words to look for which is cool 👍🏼

Easy as!

Very simple to use and help with my understanding of additives. The best app of it’s kind that I’ve found. Well worth the $.
