Been using this in various forms for years in my iOS and Mac device. Absolutely love it! It is my single most used app next to some of the built in ones and my checkbook app. Developer offers great support also. If you need a calculator regardless of sophistication this is the one to get!
I’ve relied on it on my Mac forever, but recently it gained iPad and iPhone versions with terrific sync support across devices. Lovely. Nothing else quite like it.
I really liked Soulver 2 and was happy to pay for 3 since the app is so great. One request is for user selectable app icons!
It’s simply a fact of life that you need this app. It should be standard with all iPhone. But it is seriously the best and only calculator you need. And when a new version is released you just buy it because it will be amazing. So just get it.
I use this on the desktop and was happy to see it is available for the mobile. Great for calculating things on the fly. The natural language interface is intuitive and easy to use. Kudos
Great app! Congrats on all the accolades. I think I found a potential bug though. As I was going through the Getting Started documentation, under the section on variables, it did not accept the new definition of a variable. I tried a few things and the behavior seemed a little random. Where you have, (arbitrary line numbers) 1 current tax = 20% 2 $500 + current tax (displayed $600.00 correct) 3 4 current tax = 40% 5 $500 + current tax (displayed $600.00 incorrect) I tried erasing 'tax' and then retyping it, and the display changed to $700 when I finished the word, but then when back to $600 when I pressed the spacebar. So I tried adding a 2 at the end of tax on 5 and 6, and it displayed $700 (nothing surprising). Then I erased the 2's and the $700 stuck even after pressing spacebar. Just to check, I went up to line 2, put the cursor at the end of the word 'tax' and pressed spacebar and the display on line 5 switched back to $600 again. Seems like a relatively simple fix, so I figured if you were aware of it, it wouldn't be there lol. So there ya go. Thanks again for taking the time to make a very beautiful and useful app.
Delightful app that fills the gap between a spreadsheet and a napkin. So often, I gotta make a ‘lil calculation. Soulver is the best because it lets me make see the calculation, make notes, and save it in case I need it later.
I literally have waited this app for years, this is the calculator, like nothing in the whole store bot even getting close to this bit of software when it comes to do some math on the go. I mean really, dude, you try it — you buy it.
