I can hear again using this app!
I am recently diagnosed as deaf. I was offered a BAHA a bone anchored hearing aid. This involves an operation on my skull. Nothing else was available other than Live Captions on my IPhone. My son Stephen is an Educational Technologist. I bought Shokz openrun pro bone conduction headphones. Stephen paired them with this app. I can now hear through bone conduction! This app has saved me from invasive surgery on my skull, and has allowed me to hear properly for the first time in many years. The sound quality is equal to, if not better than hearing aids that I can no longer use. I’ve spent thousands of pounds on hearing aids in the past. I showed it to my Ear Nose Throat ENT consultant. He tried it and said it’s a game changer for deaf people. It also is normal equipment a mobile phone and bone conduction headphones anyone can wear. It’s vastly cheaper than an operation and BAHA.
