Sounding Board App
I bought this software for my teenage daughter who has cerebral palsy. Good things: it is very easy to create and edit boards; it is nice to be able to record the messages; it is very useful to be able to link screens - so that essentially I was pretty much able to duplicate my daughter's dynavox into this programme; it's great to be able to incorporate your own photos. Downsides - it's a major pain searching through the picture library to find something suitable. Can this aspect be improved? Recordings play back (on the i-pad) very quietly - you need external speakers which is a bit of a hassle if you want to use it away from home or school. Could a facility be included (as on the dynavox) where hitting a field will carry out an action (e.g. playing a music track)? That would be really good because my daughter simply cannot navigate through i-tunes to find her favourite tracks. All in all - this is great software for a very fair price. You have succeeded in making communication affordable. Well done!
