Good contents but app keeps crashing.
On iPhone app will not play in background Lock Screen, so phone needs to be open and on sound true app only for the entirety of what you want to listen to. Looks like when others write a bad review sounds true just suggests they contact help…. What a bummer
I paid over $100 for a course I can’t access. The app is trying to send me to a second app (Thinkific) to view my course and there is no way to browse Thinkific and it does not recognize the course name or Sounds True or anything. Horrible experience, waste of money. No idea when I’ll hear from support. And Sounds True has no website. Just the app. So I can’t try to get to my course that way. They didn’t send any clear, detailed instructions. No mention of having to find a way to find the course on Thinkific. They need to update instructions, email funnels, etc. Very disappointed in a company I used to love. Do better! UPDATE: I’ve talked to support twice. They are extremely unhelpful. I still can’t access the course that I paid over $100 for. Very frustrating! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
I have been hesitant to sign up (it’s very expensive) but I was lured by an advertised course that doesn’t actually appear to be available. All attempts to reach out for help have been exceedingly frustrating and no help at all.
This app has messed up my earbud sound for any app, I think I have to unpair them and repair them. You can’t watch/listen to something out of the app, listening to something even Picture in Picture closes when you try to do something else in your phone and it’s hard to find your place on what you were watching. I’ve paid for this subscription for more than a year but hardly use because the app is bad and I forget about the things I sign up for. Maybe push notifications would be better than emails. I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Sad because I signed up right in the beginning and I kept it to keep the discounted price but I’ve wasted my money because I haven’t used it. I thought it was neat to listen to live classes but never got to any.
I have this app and the program “The Power Of the Crone.” The program runs for about 5 minutes and then just stops and will not start again. This happens on my iPad. Then I switch to my phone and the same thing happens. It runs long enough to get into a story and then stops. Since it is happening on both the iPad and the phone my conclusion is that it is the program. I thought about deleting the app and reloading it, but am told I will lose the program I purchased. Any ideas on how to fix the problem?
It’s 2024 and this app developer hasnt figured out how to keep content playing when the phone locks? Unreal.
I purchased a recording that’s only available on Sounds True and requires the app to listen to it. The app has to be open to play. You can’t navigate somewhere else like with Audible and have it continue to play. Screen saver comes on? It stops. You literally have to sit and watch the app to use it. Just awful.
I was hesitant to buy a subscription to Sounds True but it’s been a fantastic journey. There’s so much access to different teachings that anyone could find a connection to what works for them. For whatever reason I don’t follow people which is both good and not good when confusion sets in but without fail I get what I need to hear. After 4 years of wondering about the desert dying and feeling completely forsaken the teachers appeared! Thanks Tami for remaining open and letting this oasis spring forth from within this dream most call life. ❤️
