I am unsure why any leisure provider would use this product. Registration: No Autofills. Forces Country as part of address. Terrible interface Selection of class: no ability to move forward having selected club. Terrible registration flow which has poor ux and bad descriptions of input. I could go on but you only need to see the providers website that they should not be publishing apps. Who floats in text on a website?
The app experience is the must clunky thing I have EVER experienced!!!! Working in digital media myself - I can tell you now this whole experience needs redesigning & redeveloping! I literally tear my hair out every time I try to book a swim session!
Trying to use this for a family with 2 children is not good! They’ve recently updated the app which has resulted in me not being able to book swimming anymore - previously I only had to put their membership numbers in! You can’t book the roller disco for the family! It’s sooo frustrating 😩
Payment never seems to work on the app
This app is supposed to facilitate bookings, but is clearly designed to work only on specific platforms. It simply does not work on mobile safari, which is pretty poor for an iPhone app! It asks you to select a ‘club’ (aka venue), then does not allow any further function, refusing to acknowledge a club has been selected and not allowing any progress. Pointless even having the useless thing. Of course, no chance of phone assistance either.

Try to book, but when I press an option it’s not taking me to the next page. Option to book on the website has been taken away now and seems to be app only…
Way too complex to book swimming for my kids who are members. App is slow to process, but the timer keeps rolling. App doesn’t allow my phone to auto fill, adding to its cumbersome usage. I can’t personalise the app so details ie membership numbers are conveniently stored. I have to start all over again to add multiple bookings as the option offered to do this -following a long and patient successful booking - reverts to a page that offers me classes I’m not looking for. It reflects badly on the company. The Southdown leisure IT Dept could check out the hop pod app for some inspiration.
Vaguely managing to book swims, but can’t find my tickets though it seems to open the barriers at Sealanes. Generally pretty frustrating.
Clear easy to use and amend swim times. Also very clear how many spaces, waitlist and when waitlist space available. Easy to change. All good. 🐬
