The app technically does the job but the online bill pay is klunky and poorly designed and lacks basic features that other banks have. It offers “real time” views of linked banks which gives the illusion of being able to manipulate “linked banks” from SouthState BUT any transactions between “linked” banks takes up to 3 business days when institutions like Zelle and Cash App can deposit almost “instantly”. If you are used to Wells Fargo, Chase, or Huntington Bank online banking apps you will be very disappointed with SouthState online banking’s app!

I like the ease for moving between accounts, transferring money between accounts simply, and being able to touch on a transaction to learn more about it. Having the app to easily access the account and routing information has been very helpful too. It’s simple to use, and I haven’t had any issues with it.

I love being able to use the app while away on vacation and on the road. It makes it easier knowing I have access to my accounts.

App works great as it should, no complaints.

Sometimes transactions are pending for a while. Wish they would process quicker.

I am a minor using this bank, when I first got a job I was nervous about what bank could be trusted with holding my money. Southstate bank is the place to go! It is very convenient and easy to use. It is an amazing bank and will forever be the bank I use. Thank you Jesus for Southstate Bank! 🙌🏼

I use the app for doing deposits. Very time-consuming because the app continuously says to hold steady when I’m not moving or use on a dark background when it’s on a black table and you have to wait until it finally gives you the option of doing it manually. There’s no option to do it manually from the start.

Need to add loans to this app so you can manage online payments and auto payments

Makes bill paying so easy and quick! I can check into our account 24/7. I especially like messaging because it eliminates the need to phone.
