Simply great
There’s really not much else to say. It works great, it’s easy to use, it’s free, it’s dependable. I really don’t get the one-star reviews “because I can’t get it to work”.

After reading several online reviews, I tried the 2 most recommended apps that are free to use - Splashtop and Space Desk. After trying both, I will be using Space Desk because it offers better display quality and frame rate. Below is my review of Space Desk. PROS: * Free. No annoying subscription models (like Duet Display $48 USD/year) * Easy to set up. Downloaded application to laptop, then downloaded companion app on the iPad. Connected both to the same wireless network and connection was automatically detected. * No cable required for connection. * More support? App was updated a few months ago compared to Splashtop which was last updated 6 years ago. CONS: * Display quality is still not the best, but it’s better than Splashtop. And unlike Splashtop, can easily change the resolution of the 2nd display (ie. iPad) to better match the laptop. Smoother scrolling experience than Splashtop as well. * Weird square shows up on my iPad display sometimes. I think it’s related to the “pinch to close” function. The square goes away if I tap on it.
Excellent software. Works perfect very good
It’s free and works well with my windows 10 pc. I’m very happy with this app. Keep up the great work!☺️
I’ve used the app with 3 different iPads now, all different IOS and have no issues at all. Loving the fact it’s a touchscreen monitor and wireless, thanks for your work!
Not sure what is wrong with the app but whenever I try to use the app now it shows the equivalent of a deep fried version of what my monitor is supposed to be showing.
I can use this 5 times before it doesn’t work :(
Space desk is fine whenever you connect it to your pc but at some I tried to watch streams on twitch or even play games that aren’t to heavy it lags a lot then and crashes
I’ve never written a review before but this app works so well I had to. I use it to connect and extend my 5 th gen iPad and my PC for work. Connection is always instant and I’ve never experienced any lag whatsoever. It does exactly what it’s supposed to. I tried both Duet Display and Splashtop (both you have to pay for) before I found this little gem. Thanks and well done
I don't write many app reviews, but felt this app deserves one. I've been using a Windows server and MacOS secondary (via HTML5 viewer). This already works pretty well, despite some performance limitations. Eagerly waiting for native MacOS viewer. Decided to try the viewer in iPhone just for fun. Responsiveness on iOS app is significantly better than HTML5 viewer, and works very well overall. I could see using this for a messenger or some other program in a small window. One suggestion for developer: shrink the display area on phones with a notch and rounded corners; parts of the image are not visible in the notch and corners. Or, it might be easier to allow users to specify a custom resolution, but maintain aspect ratio instead of scaling to fit entire iPhone screen. Anyway, great app and can't wait to see continuing improvements. Thank you!
