Pretty great
Once you get the settings set up in windows it’s pretty seemless, great way to put an unused iPad to work as a second screen. It’s sometimes a little buggy, but it’s rare.

Excellent Funtionality
There are lots of apps out there that demand payment..this app does the job nicely .With the addition of my iPad I now have three screens that I can use with my PC seamlessly with no lag. Easy to install … worked immediately! Looking for an additional screen ? This app works!
This app is essential
This application is essential for making a secondary screen, or simply a screen. I use this application a lot to have either a secondary screen on my main Windows computer, or a screen with a secondary computer that doesn't have a physical screen (with a virtual dongle). Which is better than third-party software in terms of latency and ergonomics.

There’s really not much else to say. It works great, it’s easy to use, it’s free, it’s dependable. I really don’t get the one-star reviews “because I can’t get it to work”.
Free and easy to use, best free app I tried for using iPad as 2nd display.
After reading several online reviews, I tried the 2 most recommended apps that are free to use - Splashtop and Space Desk. After trying both, I will be using Space Desk because it offers better display quality and frame rate. Below is my review of Space Desk. PROS: * Free. No annoying subscription models (like Duet Display $48 USD/year) * Easy to set up. Downloaded application to laptop, then downloaded companion app on the iPad. Connected both to the same wireless network and connection was automatically detected. * No cable required for connection. * More support? App was updated a few months ago compared to Splashtop which was last updated 6 years ago. CONS: * Display quality is still not the best, but it’s better than Splashtop. And unlike Splashtop, can easily change the resolution of the 2nd display (ie. iPad) to better match the laptop. Smoother scrolling experience than Splashtop as well. * Weird square shows up on my iPad display sometimes. I think it’s related to the “pinch to close” function. The square goes away if I tap on it.
