Downgrading

I loved playing SparkChess on the browser version. This is one of the first Apps I installed on my iPad. I recommend it to the students that I teach. I had a problem with an older version, but it was fixed. This is one of my favorite chess apps. It has a ton of features.

Fix the bug with the 50 move rule

Eric Mafu on

The 50 move rule is only 25 moves for some reason. This can turn a win into a draw. Please fix.

Timing is pointless

mveras1972 on

United States

This is an excellent app if you want to play with others online. However, they totally destroyed the entertainment value of chess by imposing a timer which does not allow you to think your next moves. One minute per move is just not enough, and there isn't a way to pause the game once you start. Those are terrible oversights. I feel like I paid for a game with a very bad flaw. Why have a timer at all is ridiculous. I would be more than happy to pay extra to remove the timer, but that's not even an option.

Great chess app

Spark chess is one of our favorite chess apps ... Cody, Claire and Boris have become members of our family. Yes, there was a draw issue (which was frustrating) but they fixed it quickly. Good job!
