This app has a lot of potential, but unfortunately there are no choices for advanced learners to skip the easy words and move on to harder words. Also, there are some words where there just seems to be something off, I’ve had three native British speakers to pronounce „than“ „correctly“ and they couldn’t do it.

es werden viel zu oft richtig ausgesprochene Worte als Fehler gekennzeichnet, was sehr ärgerlich ist. Und das, obwohl man fr Premium gezahlt hat, sollte m.M. nicht sein

The app automatically checks the correct pronunciation and displays the result in the corresponding color for each sound according to IPA phonetic transcription. In addition, the app records the learner's pronunciation of each word and automatically plays back the recording for comparison if desired. This is recommended by many learning platforms as a useful learning method. However, this is the first app I have found so far that also supports this learning method. Support responded to my report of a minor bug on the same day. Great!
