Needs support for multi-users on the Pal!
Overall, I find this to be a perfectly suitable app. However, it is currently only possible to have one Speediance account connected to the Gym Pal via the app. This prevents multi-user and family use, and hope to see this feature added soon!
Love the Equipment, But App Needs Improvement
I am a product (app) designer and an avid user of the Gym Monster. In my opinion, the app experience is not on par with the quality of the equipment. My biggest pain points are: 1) numerous copy inconsistencies and grammar that doesn’t reflect proper English. 2) Some of the text is too small and/or light which is an accessibility issue. 3) The Home Screen/dashboard UX is a bit jumbled and hard to parse. Tweaks like adjusting spacing and grouping content into modules would help. I hope the Speediance team is open to feedback on their UI and UX (I have more!). I love the gym equipment and want them to succeed - evolving the app would surely help in that department.
Speediance Gym Monster is a great product
Less than 1/3rd the price of a Tonal and content is FREE. App plays nice with the equipment and syncs well with Apple Fitness (including the iWatch) - nicely done.
STOP UPDATING THIS APP
My PAID FOR gym is ruined after every update by these amateur developers. I can’t use my own equipment since they constantly break it via updates. WiFi stops working. Boot error screens. Just total garbage. Let me use my equipment without your constant useless updates!!!
Loving the Speediance Monster Gym
Love the ability to customize my workout with 100's of exercises. I workout more now than ever, but it is so much fun. Plus, my gym came with a lifetime subscription, so no monthly fees. Amazing!
Wish I could watch the videos on the ap
I like being able to select and customize my workouts through the app and I like that it goes to the speediance. I think it would be beneficial to have the ability to play the videos through the app. This would allow me to do my HIITT workout video while another person uses the speediance for weight training.
Crashes and won’t remember credentials
1. Can’t use the Gym Pal bc the app doesn’t retain the login info. 2. Have to keep force closing app so that it will bring up login screen that uses email address and password. The stupid app always initializes trying to get you to login with phone number, but it defaults to +86 exchange, which cannot be changed!!!l 3. This app needs to be rewritten from start to finish
