Even though I connect to the quiz WiFi, it stays on the screen that says “connect to the quiz WiFi to play”

For some reason no matter what quiz I’ve been to the app never works, I’m on the latest version using an iPhone 14 Pro Max. When you go into the app even when on the quiz WiFi, it doesn’t connect if I long press the SQ Pro logo it says I’m not connected to WiFi when I clearly am.

This quiz is so great! Varied enough to keep you on your toes and hard enough to mean that when you do get a fastest finger first question right you feel like you’ve won anyway! It then can become a little competition between team members about who got the most fastest-finger-first questions haha! I like how you still get points for the correct answer even if you’re not the fastest. I love that there are a lot of music questions and that the selection of questions is varied (too much recent stuff would put me off.) Also having picture questions as well is always good to mix it up. The app itself runs very smoothly - it is really impressive. We were in a pub last night with three different rooms all doing the quiz at the same time, using different WiFi, with 29 teams and there were no problems at all. With phones being increasingly fast at sending people information to enable them to cheat in pub quizzes, this is a great way of combatting that, and just generally a lot of fun.

Upgraded to v5.0.1 today, picture questions is missing a large proportion of the top of the screen (about 200x1600 pixels) on a IPad Pro / IPads if you press it by accident it will select the letters underneath e.g. A-D without selecting/clicking picture needs additional work & UAT before being released again.

Great quiz app, but a feature to filter or search the “buzzer sounds” would be really helpful when the host has a large number (the ux is quite poor here). Thanks.

Fab App has its teething problems where doesn’t it would be good if you could hear the buzzer sounds as well before you make your choice otherwise no problems

Great app that helps speed up quizzes

Shocking!!! Kept dropping out off the WiFi. How does it even become fair if no one has an even chance. You literally have to be sat on top of the apps own WiFi. My team were not the only one to complain of this. Absolutely sh**te!!!!

Issues users experience seem to be more related to the pubs hosting the quizzes which is down to which router they use. No issues at my local and it’s always a great night, shame people blame the app and not their local boozer’s inability to pay for a good setup!
