Thoughtfully designed

Wow! I wasn’t expecting to be so pleased. The features are very nice, love the extra options in the settings menu.

It insists to order my playlist in ways that doesn’t make sense

I’ve it many times and am very frustrated. If I upload several sound files, this all would order them on ways that looked totally random to me. And it seems that I have on way to reorder them. I have upload them literally one by one in order for them to stay in the order that I need them to. For they, I hate this app!!!!

More precise audio speed options?

dladasse on

United States

This app is pretty good, however it would be better if the speed options did not change by a twentieth. (1.05, 1.1, 1.15, etc.) Can it be more precise be hundreths? (1.01, 1.02, 1.03, etc.) Or better yet, thousandths! (1.001, 1.002, 1.003, etc.) Thanks!

Not useful

Won’t give you the ability to vary speed on an entire playlist, as in”play this list of fiddle tunes at 110% speed.” That’s the only reason I tried this. There are much better apps out there to speed up and slow down music on single tracks, which is all this does with sliders that are not very granular.

Thank god this exists

It’s super annoying to not be able to customize the speed and rewind settings for most audio player apps that are designed for listening to short audio files. When listening to longer audio files like podcast downloads and courses, this is app is a life saver.

Wish there was an app for Apple Watch Put a lock on repeat/no repeat

Buggy

This app will only work while I have it open. If I’m listening to an audiobook in my car I have to check the time on the audio, because by the time I get from my garage to my room the app will glitch. I have to delete the whole audio file, upload it from my files again, then use the slider to get to the correct time. This happens at least two times a day. Prepare yourself to be annoyed. Edit: the Wi-Fi file transfer hasn’t worked in weeks. 👎

Does not work on iPhone Pro 12

Never wrote a bad review before but this app does not integrate with existing playlists, does not accept valid URLs and has no meaningful support on its site. Very very poor experience.

Bad sound

I so wanted this to work... on

Like the features, but not worth the decline in sound quality. It makes for difficult listening with audiobooks.

Only app that meets my specific need

Suntereo321 on

United States

I use the touch controls on this app to help memorize material. It’s the only app I’m aware of which lets me touch the screen to pause/resume, swipe to skip/rewind, and even touch to speed up/slow down. I can do all of this without looking at the phone. The only downside is that the latest update seemed to break the ability to play files on Dropbox. I have a workaround where I can find the app in Dropbox and then export to SpeedUp so it’s not a showstopper for me.
