Best speaking app f measuring your abilities on the market - but for articulation it seems to randomly give incorrect feedback “unclear/clear”
I subscribed to a full year of the app, yet it is very tiresome to get consistent requests for more money via coaching. That as well as constant requests to taste and feedback on the exercises. This really detracts from the experience. The core app is good tho
I’ve been using this app for the past few weeks to prep for interviews and I’m already seeing amazing improvements in my speech. The app catches errors in my speaking that I was completely ignorant to before. It also encourages you to think on your feet, with a randomized prompt generator that gives you 8 seconds to prepare and 2 minutes to respond. Overall I’ve loved my experience so far. Couldn’t recommend it enough
This app has really increased my confidence with public speaking now I always feel prepared and calm before any presentation
I am so grateful for this app, and have been using it for a few years as part of my morning routine to keep my voice in check. Yes, is great for public speaking, etc., but I also use it before theater productions and the like. The lessons are easy to follow, and the app is also great if you just want to do a quick warm-up to get your “vocal juices“ flowing at the start of your day! I also love the fact that it works across all of apples devices, and – now — your data/recordings sync seamlessly across them. can’t wait to see what else is in store!
Here are some of my recommendations - add daily drill sets, exercise ( tongue twisters, low humming, loud talking, etc) - score the progress on a scale so i can see how much improvement i am making on each front. I know graphs are there but i’d like granular numbers for each exercise type. - add analysis of facial expressions - have scores in random prompt summaries as well. - i want more recommendations or KPIs than just intonation, modularity, pace. - i was able to get this for $30 a year and thats the value i see in this at the moment. For $60 a year or more i need a lot more detail and functionality.
This app is great to prepare for a presentation and I love that it helps with all aspects - from calming down beforehand to using powerful body language while you’re speaking
I started using Speeko a few weeks ago; it’s clean, simple to use, and effective. I have mostly used it for practice prompts and warmups, and to monitor my own speech during important meetings; it’s made me much more aware of the filler words I use, and has started to impact my day to day habits and allows me to think more deeply about the way I’m speaking.
I’m pretty skilled in public speaking so I expected a good result that touched on speed, dialect, tone, pausing, infliction, intonation and fillers. App told me I was dynamic, had good pace, used 2 fillers, had good pausing, and I used available vocabulary for word choice. Articulation is unclear (as I suspected since I like to jump around ideas unless given a prompt). As long as you search up the areas you’re lacking in, the internet will guide you on how to improve each area. It’s kind of an art mixed with a science so unless you know what’s important for persuasive speaking and actively research each area, it’ll be a little more difficult to know how to improve. Best way is recording yourself and listening.
