Spell 2 Speak is an iPad app designed and programmed to help anyone who cannot speak or has difficulty speaking verbally communicate through spelling.
Spell 2 Speak features a large alphabet keyboard, punctuation, numbers, and “delete” and “clear” buttons for editing. To speak the text you have written, click the play button on the editing bar at the top of the screen. Click it again to pause the speech. You can resume it by clicking it once more. You can also copy the text that you have written by clicking the copy button.
It is intended as a middle point between using paper letterboards and computer keyboards, as it promotes individuality while still providing large enough buttons for easy typing.
