There are way too many ads in this game, like every couple of minutes. It makes it very hard to concentrate on finding words. Not to mention, some of the solution words aren’t really words, they’re slang, or another language, or just nonsense words.
The ad-supported version is unplayable, as ads are long and interrupt gameplay. The alternative is to pay to have ads removed, but the problem is, that many words are simply not recognised, and the same games keep popping up, so it’s repetitive. For a couple of dollars, I’d wear the cost, but six dollars is way too much.
This game is faulty, I have entered correct words correctly spelled & they have been rejected!! I can’t be bothered any more!
Good game to pass the time though the choice of words tgat acceptable is at times very odd, don’t be surprised when you play a fairly common word just to see it rejected
The game is great, it’s super addictive. The only issue is the game has a very limited number of letter combinations it will give you for each round. Once you’ve gone through a lot you’ll notice every game is the same as one you’ve played earlier. You’ll start being able to just memorise the answers you missed in previous rounds and getting “queen” status in every round.
Unfortunately too many non sensical words that don’t even exist in a standard dictionary! The difficulty level is insane! I do the NYT Spelling Bee every day and pretty much always get GENIYA, here I struggle to get to PRODIGY.
Whilst this app had some issues with VoiceOver previously, they have gotten worse. Since the update, we no longer have a clearly labelled help button. All we have now is a question mark And a light bulb. My recommendation would be to have a look at some accessibility guidelines and implement these in your next update. I gave it a three star rating because, as long as you don’t need to access help for anything, the game is playable.
If you can deal with the frustration of the poor dictionary then app itself is great.
Although the game itself is fun, the ads are ridiculous as is the $3.99 charge for ad free. Not sure I will continue to play unless cost comes down
