Spider (Classic Card Game)

Card numbers are way too small and hard to see. They were perfect before changed. Won't play anymore. Too hard to see. 🥲🥲

The hinting is a little ball that floats, drawing a line from one card onto another where it might be played. Over and over. Like once every second or two. Regardless of whether it’s a senseless or desired move. There’s no way to shut it off. Sound can be shut off. That’s about it That little hint ball was so annoying right out of the gate that I deleted this app after about 5 minutes play.

Tried them all, this is easily the best app to play solitaire. It’s just spider solitaire, exactly what I wanted. Simplistic, yet has the features I do want such as click to move and hints. The only change I would suggest is having a dedicated hint button rather than showing hints automatically after a wait. Usually I want to think it out and only request a hint if needed. It’s not important to me but it would be nice to have some color and card customizability.

If simplicity is what you are looking for, this is a great one and definitely a cut above most of the spider apps I’ve played. My only complaint is that it might be just a little too simple. I’d love the options to customize colors and backgrounds. Would also love to see the animations a tad more akin to the ones on the classic windows program, as they feel more satisfying. :)

I love there are no ads, and there are options to play from easy to difficult levels. Great app!
