Spider Solitaire Classic

Latest upgrade destroyed all the fun. New look is terrible and usability is much worse than in previous version.

In the past, I enjoyed a quick game of Spider Solitare; however, it seems like the math setting up the game under went a radical change, which means little or no chance of “winning” because of frequent duplicate numbers and the omission of others needed to make a complete run. It has taken the fun out of what used to be a fun game. I thought the game had made a change in the algorithm because I won twice. Now it is back to three 8’s and three 1’s, making the game impossible to win and not fun.

Ads between almost every game

I’ve enjoyed this app for a long time, but it started having ads that blocked the function of the game. It’s so annoying! I refuse to pay to remove ads.

Too many advertisements

Despite sound off, volume 0, games is playing some background thing, and some ads want to make noises as well.

Are used to love this app. The last week it has started playing background music, and there is no way to shut it off. I tried to “report an issue“ and that screen is blank. I will play this sometimes late at night and cannot tolerate noise while I’m playing. All of my settings are set to “sound off” but that doesn’t seem to help.

Suddenly a loud banging track plays while I’m playing. Not during an ad. Can’t turn it off. Have to close down the game and re-open. And the support goes to a blank page.

The Outbrain ads are particularly obnoxious & can be very difficult to close without being redirected—and this occurs just to play a new game. Nearly ready to delete the game as a result.
