Spire: Music Recorder & Studio

It would be nice if you can add sources to the tracks...such as an MP3 on track 1 (instrumental version of a song) so I can record a voice over it on track 2

If we could duplicate audio files.. it would make it easier to double vocals. That’s really the only other thing I wish it had… aside from that. It’s perfect.

Would be nice to see more vocal effects ie auto tune, harmony, ect. But overall, I am enjoying it a lots! Also it’s much easier than using a daw and allows one to concentrate on being the artist instead of the engineer, after all the purpose of pure art is to reach the soul, the purpose of engineering is to reach the bank account.

I remember first using it some years ago and I couldn’t finish a song while recording at home during the pandemic. I liked the sound and ease of use but tracks were limited. I laid my chorus down to see how it sounded. I was pleased but would eventually ditch it for Garage Band. Now years later, the tracks don’t seem as limited and more vocal fx and filters have been added. I can actually finish a song now using this app & it sounds on par with studio quality. Thank you developers!! I hope this app only gets greater with more controls! New review: October 15, 2024 Dear iZotope. So I’ve been recording with your app for some time now since 2020. I’ve even left it because I was frustrated with how limiting it was but have since returned because I really liked the results of my sound. This has been my savior since I can’t always get time for a professional studio. I have recently recorded an almost complete song but I was still left a little frustrated for some strong desirable reasons. So here’s my requests that I would really love to see improve as a recording artist who mostly enjoys using your app: Would like to be able to import music files into previous recording session Would be awesome if we could get 12 tracks instead of eight per group Would like to be able to duplicate recorded clips while in session and copy/paste, move around the audio timeline. Would like to see gain control and vocal fx added. Thank you for hearing me out and giving us another option to record our song & idea especially during the pandemic era. I hope this app only improves and that you guys strongly consider looking into my requests. Avri

Please continue to support compatibility with your Spire Studio device and continue to update this wonderfully useful app with new features. Copy/Paste would be great. I have 2 Spire Studio devices and they are an asset to my musical creativity… Ash Can School & and DJUDEA BASSELLO on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon etc. ;) Thank you!
