Spoon: Live Audio & Podcasts

Ive been using spoon since 2019. It was bad then it got better then around last year you guys became an app a lot of people quit. i was part of the roleplay community and it really sucked that it got taken out of spoon since that is how a lot of people ( such as me and some old friends ) became friends. it was disappointing and i decided to quit the app after that. i redownload it every so often to check on the app but it just keeps getting worse and worse each time, that i rarely check now because it doesn't feel like the things people like aren’t accessible to them anymore.

look I love spoon, been using it since early 2019, I remember when like you could only have like 4 people in a live at a time, and why in the name of God would you guys take away the only thing that made this app fun?? I mean don't get me wrong its not unbearable but still, please let it free

Hello there Spoon, Redtails here. I’ve used your app for a long time but stopped because you removed rps. I understand the reasons and all, but you did lose a lot of people and lost money! So here’s a solution, why not make a app for role players! It’ll bring hundreds back, give you more money, and have a lot of happy people! My years on Spoon were amazing with rps, and I’m sure there’s hundreds that’ll say the same thing! I just missed rps, I miss my old friends. Thank you, and goodbye -Redtails

I’m totally fine with what this app is now still amazing but jeez does it need rp back, the amount of users would increase like wild fire.

Hi, but whenever I start going live, I can’t see myself and I don’t know if my viewers can see me either so I don’t know

That is stupid to expect people to pay for something that used to be free (group calls) the moment I heard it was back after y'all took it away I looked at the app again hoping to be able to stream the way I enjoy, Yknow being able to ACTUALLY have conversations with my viewers but I can’t because I am not able to waste money on stupid things(like a membership to do something that used to be free and make the app something that could help with socializing) The membership thing is just making the app more inaccessible to those with tight budgets that need a form of social interaction. This app USED to be an escape from the disrespect I got on the daily in person…but now this app is just like the people who made me need it…I keep the app on my phone hoping for the day y'all stop charging people to be able to talk and connect with others.

I know that role playing could lead to so bad things but maybe give it one more chance maybe monitor the role play server to see anything bad happening I mean like give role playing one more chance the app feels dead without role playing just one more chance that’s all I’m asking for is give role playing another chance

I feel like you should’ve kept roleplay in spoon,a lot of people are barely using it now since it got taken away. And group call in a live was amazing,ever since they got rid of roleplay and group calls the app is barely alive,it’s really boring and unenjoyable.

Overall spoon was ok for the time being. I was big during Covid and I released a lot of saxophone music. I held choice for 6-8 months, maybe came top donations twice or three times over the month. But to be honest, Spoon just isn’t it. I had hundreds of tracks that I put hours into, and spoon sold their platform. I lost my profile, fans, and most importantly all of my music that I had recorded on the platform. Spoon had been dead in the US for a while, I think that’s why they sold. Seems to be doing well now, but definitely not recommended.
