Used to be the best, Keywords: used to be
I’ve been using SpotAngels reliably for years to check the street cleaning map and get spot reminders. Now? I log in today and the app I’ve been using for free for YEARS wants me to pay for a subscription. No way. Apple Maps will keep the location of your parked car, and I can read the signs and set alarms myself. I miss the free SpotAngels, but not enough to pay for yet another stupid subscription. See ya.

Doesn’t work
Doesn’t save logged spot location anymore. Unusable
Spot Angels partnering with WAY to scam people
Do not use Spot Angels or WAY to book garage parking! These companies scam people for money. I booked a garage parking space through spot Angels who partnered with WAY. I had confirmed with WAY customer service the parking instructions. Give the confirmation to the parking attendant and park in the designated spot in the garage. Also was told it was fine to arrive after the check in time. I arrived at the parking garage provided in the instruction and there was no parking attendant and no posted signage for the designated parking spots. I called customer service for WAY again and they changed their story, told me it was street parking not garage parking (despite providing the address to a garage and advertising it as such) and was told give the confirmation to the street parking attendant and park in the designated street parking spot. There was no such street parking attendant and no posted signage for the designated parking. Also street parking was free after 6pm. They did not offer a refund because I was checking in after the original check in time despite being told earlier it was fine to check in late. Do not use either of these companies. False advertising and a parking SCAM!
Got a $115 parking ticket
Seemed like a pretty cool tool to find free parking in NYC for the weekend. I trusted the info from the app but came back to a $115 parking ticket. It would have been cheaper to just park in a garage :(
Update your App!
AngelSpot showed me that I can park here 2 hours free on Monday from 8am to 6pm. But I got parking ticket for $60 after 2 hours parking at 16 Arundel St, Boston, MA 02215. Please update your app ASAP!
