Very old data
Looks like the latest reports in my area (zip 74804) are 45 days old. Would like a date range filter…

I wish there was a way to submit inaccurate information on this app to someone.
App appears to have stopped working. Haven’t had any reports changed since February 13, 2024.
Can’t create an account, when I do no verification email.. it’s just a bricked app
The app opens to an error notification.
Still a lot of features I would like. But mostly the information is relevant and timely.
It shows SOME things, nothing new, and not everything. That's ok, but what makes the app NOT worth it is how is NEEDS you to let it log your real-time location all the time. I entered and saved my address and my mom's, and it shows some things in the areas around them. But I will not allow it to know my location. That should be fine, as we can search for addresses (and supposedly save them). But the addresses DO NOT get saved! Not even one (or once). And without sharing my real-time LOCATION with the developers, it screams with a pop-up literally every 3 minutes (this is NOT an exaggeration), saying "Location is disabled" and telling me how to enable it. Hit "Deny," and that should be the end of it. Three seconds later is pops this up again. Then again. Then again....You get the idea. I don't allow it to know my real location. But you can just search addresses right? In the amount of time it took me to enter the address and street name the app popped up the location demand FIVE TIMES! It turns out the every 3 seconds popup is negated by entering an address, which then pops it up every 3 CHARACTERS typed in!! If you don't care about some no-name developer knowing your location at all times, I'm sure this isn't really a concern. But for those of us who DO care about our privacy, this is a problem. They don't need constant real-time location data. Saying "No" once should be the end of it—NOT making an app that just shows crime stats based on an address harass you until you either give in or just delete it altogether. There are better apps for this, unless you just don't care about your personally identifiable location and data—which in itself could give the next data breach enough data to know when you aren't at the address they store....It's an ironic app in that way. Find a better one. Too bad Citizen won't install for all those of us who don't have the newest and shiniest iGadgets (ios 15+ only).
Very rudimentary and not useful.
“Free” registration via the app launched an “identity verification” page that asks for a Visa credit card number. This will generate non-$0 charges that hopefully your Visa will block. I submitted a fraud report to Apple. Not recommended.
The service has been a lot slower than before. Slow loading the maps and crimes. I was using this on iPhone 12pro max with iOS 16. Just deleted this app. Bye.
