I love the idea of this app for kids so that my daughter’s listening choices don’t impact my account algorithm. I would like to suggest that permission be granted to play podcasts in the kids app because my daughter listens to Animal Stories for Kids podcast, or the Spotify kids original podcasts like Deep Blue Sea and Gardenkeeper Gus, but those aren’t options on the kids app. I would also like to see added permission to pair the kid’s app listening to nearby speakers like our Alexa or her Yoto player- again, so that my personal account algorithm isn’t impacted by her listening choices, but we can still listen to kids content at home. Honestly, if you're like me 8 years or older, just don't. No good music, they put KIDS BOP, *Gags* I mean, COME ON!! If you're gonna advertise for GOOD music, don't put BABY MUSIC! I Only got this because my phone has restrictions, so I can't download the OG version. Love Spotify but this one... Nah.
Some songs are for kids
Let me explain make your own kind of music is not in the app. It’s a beautiful song taking about if you different make your own kind of fun even if if everyone thinks it’s weird plus some songs like smooth like butter has no bad words all the songs of bts have no bad words look it’s like you tube kids report everything if it said darn or brick or whatever that would be for kids gone I mean like td bricks is for older kids like 10 and 90 years old Im saying for everyone almost all of his videos are report when he said glizzy yes this app for kids song is bad as bad

I got this when I was 7-8 and I loved it for awhile, although after turning 10 it got really boring. Honesty my song interests got higher and Spotify Kids just wasn’t portraying what I was looking for. For example some songs I would look for that were not explicit or have anything wrong with them wouldn’t show up, Also they never updated it!!! I also would recommend

Doesn’t connect to Alexa
I love the idea of my kids having their own Spotify instead of listening to mine account, but the only problem I have is that it doesn’t connect to their Alexa.

When I got this app, I was hoping to listen to my favorite songs that are clean and have no bad words in it… but I was soon to find out that whenever I searched up a song that wasn’t super popular, it just say nothing or just some toddler songs. Also, you should make it so there is a way you can make accounts for your kids like a 10 and up account and a 9 and under account as well as a toddler account so older kids don’t have to listen to littler kids songs.
Some things you could add to the app is an option to see the lyrics in the song and being able to make different playlists, not just favorites. You could also make it so there are some less known artists on there.
