The site is interesting but the app is requiring me to sign in each time I open it. I’ll be ditching it if this isn’t fixed.

Spread is the way I source all of my podcasts and favorite articles. It’s my favorite tool when I need to find something to read or listen to.

As more and more of the web is flooded with AI nonsense and bots scamming, Spread is the real human internet.

Spread is something I didn’t know I needed until I started using it. I no longer use Spotify’s podcast recommendations or scroll through LinkedIn to find something interesting to read. Spread provides both without repetition or amplification. Get on this app to divorce yourself of algorithms and find something interesting from the people you follow and trust.

Finally some content by real people. I used to love consumer social but it got so inundated with algo optimization. Spread brings some real community back to what we engage with.

This is the app design I've been waiting for. Over the past few years, every news feed and reader I've tried has become cluttered with clickbait, reductive meta-conversations that hardly engage with essays being shared, and promotes only the content that most clearly divides tribes. Spread brings me relevant articles based only on direct recommendations from readers in my network, and presents each article context-free so I can do my own interpreting before discussing with friends. It's a feed that isn't soul-crushing, and I'm excited for it to get stronger as more friends join the ecosystem.

Love discovering interesting articles with low effort and no noise or toxicity. This type of app is sorely missing in the 202x ecosystem.

After working in the news industry and witnessing media manipulation first-hand, I completely swore off reading the news for years... until Spread! I'm so grateful that the Spread team has created such a beautiful design, encouraging reading and thoughtful reflection without all the noise and distraction of other apps. Best of all, I feel excited to share engaging articles on the app... and then pick up the phone to debate ideas with my friends. I love that I can always trust who's posting the content. It makes me feel like I'm back in college, having menaingful conversations, even though I work remotely and don't get a lot of chances for robust intellectual conversations. Highly recommend!
